exactly, I was just checking some interesting stats on cricinfo and maybe that too made you write this post.
Defending 200 runs or less Waseem has won 15 times (ok out of 53
) and he averaged just 10 in those and Waqar has won 12 out of 38 averaging 13. Remarkable. We surely are missing this kind of spirit, it was there a year back I really don’t know what went wrong since we lost that ODI series to India at home.
and hows health?

AssalamuAlaikum Bhai- I heard you were attacked by germs! Good on you, defeating them! (beware of BBQ food poisoning) Hope you’re feeling better InshaAllah.

Saadie: It is indeed amazing how the two Ws used to galvanize the whole team. My post was a result of this match being shown on ten sports, and what i found amazing was that when the third wicket fell in the 30 something over, the Pakistan team was celebrating jubiliantly. Lets not forget that SL only required another 24 more runs with some 60+ balls in hand, and with Jayasuriya on crease and Aravinda De Silva to follow! Lets not forget that each of these legends are capable of scoring 24 runs in an over - at will!
But the Pakistan team seemed to think they could pull it off, and they did… that confidence, that khudi is what brought us the cup in 1992 - I am praying BaRe Bhai will find that confidence once again!
Li’l Baji: Wa Alaikum Assalam - the germs made some inroads into my terriroty, but the attacks have been repulsed - there is some wreckage in their wake, but the victory is ours Alhamdulillah!
Jazak Allah Khair for the duas.

what we need is a coach who can do something besides playing brian lara on his laptop.
and a captain who’s got some imran khanness in him.

Badshah Slamat: I disagree. No coach can work wonders in the field. BW has done and achieved more than any coach I can recall. Its all a matter of fighting spirit - the kind New Zealand have shown in their recent decimation of Australia. No score is too big or small! No team invincible.

best thing about them was, once they get a sniff of a victory they wud go for it and often do miracles. right now I cant see such a spirit right now. anyhow abhee tu sweating on Shoaib’s and Asif’s fate.
and yes is there some change in your phone number??
