happy 30th birthday, han?

as much concensus as there may be on how well you are liked in and around the UAE, you really MUST stop leaving your wordpress signed in. this is a cruel, exploitative world, and they will use anything to their advantage.

my only reason for doing this is that it annoys you no end, and i dont like you very much (very often)…. and i realised i have another reason. this time reason being it’s your 30th birthday and i want to leave you a memorable birthday present. like words etched in stone, i spoil your blog, and everything else you hold in high esteem — namely yourself.

ha. im bored now. i think i will stab you instead (yazzo style).

you forgot to say, how does it feel having lived half your average life? (pun on average intended)

Hemmie: You are evil. Exploitative. Mean. and plain evil!

As for the revenge part, apparently so… I am a saint… or used to be one. With you around, I am going to get good at it pretty soon though…keep trying!

p.s. that post at your place..it was not revenge..it was just me underlining the irony of your this update here…:)

Chotey Bhai: Thanks for the wishes. I got news for you… at 30, one wishes someone stabbed one… it is a not too gentle reminder that one is still worth some attention.

    Anjum,

Many many happy returns of the day…October born are the best!

I should know. I meet one everyday in the mirror.

Hurrah for the mid-twenties…thats the best time…you are younger than the old and older than the young…as against being as young as the young or as old as the old!

Happy 31st to yourself ForaBetterWorld…I like it that you imply you will be officially wise for exactly one year more than me … always…:)

    hahahaha

I love this drama. I get to laugh at this guest post, at the “yazzo-style” shout-out, at knicq’s guest post on Hemlock’s blog, AND at the comments at both ends. You guys are hella good. Rock on, crackstars!

re 30 being the age where you’re officially wise — it’s true. my parents forbid me from doing something but said if i still wanted to do it when i’m 30, i can go ahead. or maybe that means 30 is the age where your parents give up..

mabrook. at least now you have an excuse for that balding head of yours. hehe. kidding.

october born rock indeed. i turned 26 on the 22nd. it’s a good thing you mentioned the mid twenties bit, i guess i can stop counting here.

Hemmie: “Your this update” hota hai. I say so. I re-read my posts before updating, not my comments…looks like you do the opposite. By the way, guess just who left their word-pressed logged in this time! I resist the temptation. I shall update at my own place instead, and sign out afterwards… *sets reminder on mobile*

Yazzo: Hre she is destroying my blog, and in her own words, all things I hold in high esteem, and you are encouraging her! I am good. She’s a menace.

Anjum: You don’t get wise at 30. You just become old, and lose the urge to do lots of things you migh have wanted to do a few years ago. ForaBetterWorld can shed light on that. He has been 30 for a year, and 31 and a few days since. There are exceptions of course. Some like me do not let a number like age bother them. others like JB start fighting back… he wants to jump off of a plane now. Before 30, his best was bungie jumping.

Noodles: Belated borthday wishes sis. Many many happy returns of the day. As for the mid twenties , until a couple of years ago, I used to count 22-28 as mid-twenties. I am not an extremist when interpreting numbers….:)
